• HISTORY ASPECTS:The Lippisch P.13a was a German experimental delta-winged fighter aircraft developed during World War II. It was designed by Alexander Lippisch, who was a leading exponent of delta-winged aircraft at the time. The P.13a was intended to be a high-speed interceptor with a top speed of over 1,000 km/h (620 mph).The P.13a was constructed largely of wood and featured an unconventional delta-wing design with a single jet engine mounted in the rear of the aircraft.
