1998 was Richard Burns’s first season with the works Mitsubishi Ralliart team alongside Tommi Mäkinen, and this is his #2 Lancer Evolution IV with co-driver Robert Reid on that year’s Monte Carlo Rally. The Evo IV introduced Active Yaw Control and the reversed-rotation 4G63 turbo engine that would carry Mitsubishi to four straight drivers’ titles.
