Product Details
The Mercedes-Benz 300SL of 1954 got its gullwing doors out of necessity: the tubular space frame ran so high along the sills that conventional doors would not fit. It was also the first production car with fuel injection, and it remains the most valuable Mercedes road car of its era. Tamiya’s 1:24 kit recreates that space frame, with opening gullwing doors and hood that lock in the open position, nylon mesh for the front intake and metal-transfer emblems.
