  • HISTORY ASPECTS:
  • The German Sd.Kfz.181 Tiger (Early Production Model) "Engine Plus Edition" was a formidable heavy tank used by the German army during World War II. The tank was first introduced in July 1943 and was used in the Battle of Kursk on the Eastern front. It was operated by the Schwere Panzerabteilung 505, No. 100. The Tiger tank had a powerful 88mm main gun, heavy armor, and advanced suspension that made it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. The early production model had a few minor differences from later models, including a simpler commander's cupola and a different mantlet design.
  • During the Battle of Kursk, the Tiger tanks were deployed as part of a German offensive against Soviet forces. The tanks were highly effective in combat and were responsible for destroying many Soviet tanks and other vehicles. However, the Tiger tank was not invincible and suffered from mechanical issues and other vulnerabilities.
  • The "Engine Plus Edition" 1/32 scale model of the Sd.Kfz.181 Tiger (Early Production Model) is a highly detailed replica that includes additional engine detail not found in other models. It is a must-have for collectors and World War II enthusiasts who want to own a piece of history. With its intricate details and accurate design, this model will be a standout in any collection.
