  The Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero, flown by the 9-victory ace Kazuo Tsunoda of the 2nd Kokutai in the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJNAS), played a crucial role in the early stages of the Pacific theater during World War II.
