Product Details
The Lotus 79 was the first Formula One car to fully exploit ground effect, and it carried Mario Andretti to the 1978 World Championship with Ronnie Peterson second before his fatal accident at Monza. Tamiya’s 1:20 Grand Prix Collection kit reproduces the sculpted side-pontoon undersurfaces, adds metal air-funnel covers, and provides decals and alternate roll bars to build either the #5 Andretti or #6 Peterson car as raced at the British or German Grand Prix.
